OKHA Interior Design Studio

OKHA is a Cape Town based interior design studio. We are creators of progressive, elegant furniture and lighting, as well as artisanal objects and contemporary floor art. Our design is inspired by an enquiring contemporary aesthetic and timeless classicism, with a deep respect for natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. We aim to be at the forefront of discerning modern living, and offer a fully comprehensive and bespoke interior design service.

Social Media & Digital Administrator (SMDA)
Job Summary:

As SMDA, you will work closely with our Brand Manager and Head of Marketing to implement and execute key digital strategies. You’ll play a crucial role in managing social platforms, crafting engaging content, and promoting our brand across various digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand & Content Management:

  • Write captivating captions for social media posts and campaigns
  • Develop and organize a comprehensive content library
  • Create multimedia content for social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)

Social Media:

  • Manage the content funnel, sourcing content from across the company
  • Schedule and post approved monthly content plans
  • Engage with online communities and respond to queries promptly
  • Implement content boosting strategies

Digital Channels:

  • Maintain and update the company website and blog posts
  • Manage MailChimp and schedule newsletters
  • Implement Google Ad strategies
  • Liaise with web developers for page updates and new launches

Internal Communications:

  • Compile social media and digital results for quarterly reports
  • Coordinate LinkedIn content for company leaders
  • Manage staff travel briefs and social media content for trips

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Social Media Administrator role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Knowledge of platforms like Meltwater, Hootsuite, Iconosquare, and Power BI is a plus
  • Passion for media and marketing
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure with professionalism
  • Proactive, disciplined, and eager to learn
  • Team player with excellent research and computer skills
