This edition of the OKHA Quarterly illustrates our love affair with minimalism. It is the golden thread throughout this publication, unmistakable in both our projects and products.

May 2013

In this edition of OKHA Quarterly we see a distinctive shift towards a leaner, more paired down design direction, both in product design and interiors. Allowing ourselves space to breathe, to relax, to rejuvenate is key and in the same manner we allow the best of South African art, bespoke design and contemporary architecture its due space to be recognised, appreciated and engaged with. Enjoy!

Project Nettleton 199 allowed us to create some bespoke furniture pieces which have now found their way to become part of the OKHA catalogue. As you may have guessed we are linguistic devotees as well as design ones. Enjoy!

December 2010

For this edition of the OKHA quarterly we have employed a painterly approach, expressing the inner modern artist in us all. The colours are “off” shades, shifting colours that stir the senses, use them sparingly or with gusto, but always in unison with blocks of solid black or white that bring sculpted forms to life.
